Re: Champion 7JC Owner Died N610WA

Our airport manager, who has been in aviation in Iowa since the Wright brothers, knew Sheldon, the owner of this plane. He says that those books would most likely be in a safe someplace. Owner wasn't one to misplace them. I bet they turn up.

Re: New Sedans available!

I actually have the Citabria on Trade-a-Plane now so I'm looking for something a little different.

Re: Champion 7JC Owner Died N610WA

The plane really is a mess. I looked at it also, I figured doing it all myself, and doing it the way I would, I'd spend in excess of $50k rebuilding it to like it was when it came from the factory.

Re: The Sedan is in the Water

That is just sooo cool. Water, trees, blue skies and a plane on floats. It doesn't get anymore perfect than that. Might just be a glimpse of what Heaven must be like.

Re: Champion 7JC Owner Died N610WA

Since the dawn of aviation, there have been designers out there who occasionally come up with one of those airplanes that they actually get from the drawing board to the assembly floor. And all the people said “What the ___ were they thinking?” In the list of strange airplanes of the world, the 7JC ...

In other words, they are using their government appointed authority to bolster their already over inflated egos and become bigger dickheads than they already were. These were probably the kids who were picked on in school and now they are transferring their frustration onto an innocent victim over a...

Re: Fuselage progress.

I had a small fabric repair project that I used the Millers for my materials and resource. They were great to work with as long as everything was going fine but as soon as I had an issue, they dropped off the face of the planet.

Baffles for sale

I have the left and right crankcase baffles for a Champ or a Chief with a 65 hp for sale. I bought them new from Wag-Aero but couldn't use them. I paid $156.40 for the pair new and the current price for them new is $171.50. I'll take $100 for these two, including shipping. Pictures on the National A...
