Drawings for Non-C Model

Hi,

I have the disc with all the drawings. The "C" model file are pretty much labeled, but the other file of 4600 drawings is not. Is there an index available or some way to tell which drawings are for what without opening every one of the 4600 up?

Thanks, Bob

I used to date a girl in Crossett, Arkansas. Lived in Monroe, WeeeZeeeAnna and flew out of there.

Re: IPC for the Sedan Needed

Glad you found the link. You don't have to be a member to be on here, but I like to support the sites I use frequently and also the DVD deal is great. ( I am not an owner or moderator of the site, but have learned a lot of things here and hope I have shared some too)

Re: IPC for the Sedan Needed

If you renew your membership for 2 years, you will get a DVD with all the Aeronca Drawings. I have not gone through my DVD yet regarding the Sedan, but will soon as I am now a partner in one on Floats.

Re: Fuel vents

On my 7CCM the overflow / vent tube was not cut on a 45 degree angle as specified and surprisingly correcting of this did make a difference. Had something to do with ram air I am sure. From reading all the different venting issues on multiple web sites, these systems seem to gain issues with age. Th...

Re: Vertical tail fin extension

That is interesting Dick though that is the Wagner STC and I think everyone is talking about the LASHER STC. Good question for Bill though. In any case, both my Don's Dream Machine Chief and my 7CCM had the bigger dorsal fin.

Re: Wing tank gas cap?

The venting / non-venting set up can be confusing and a nightmare if you get a hole in the system somewhere. I had problems in my 7CCM and talked to Bill Pancake. I had the correct vented nose cap and unvented wing cap and had terrible transfer problems especially after installation of VGs. Turned o...

Re: Vertical tail fin extension

I agree with bsfran regarding doing it right as there have been a lot of quick fix alternatives installed out there. Same with the conversion to floats and the addition of either the twin small vertical stabalizers on the horizontal stabilize or the single dorsal fin. Then I see a lot of people leav...

Thanks Joe - I am not a Facebook Fan, but I understand how Facebook is changing things like forums. I have had some luck on another site.

Looking for an Experienced Sedan Driver in the North East

Hi, Anyone in the North East with Sedan experience of at least 50 hours PIC and current in one? I need a check out by someone that can qualify on the insurance as a Non-Named Pilot. 500 HRS PPL and 50 Make and Model Minimum? CFI status is not required. I do no need any specific Make and Model Time, ...

Re: New member

I have had the same problem now for a very long time. Stopped trying to put photos up here. I did see you plane on the other site. Hope we can meet up in the Spring. I want to do some Winch Launch Soaring while I in in Europe for three of so months. Hard to find them here in the U.S. (Fuel is too re...

Re: New member

Hi Anthony,

Congrats on the Chief. Where in France are you? I just got back from three weeks in Europe. In the spring I am going to take a flat in Vienna for 3 months and hop around the continent, France will be on my agenda, so maybe we can meet up.

Cheers, Bob

Re: Vertical tail fin extension

I have the Large Tail on my Chief, which was done via the Service Letter Conversion to a C-85-12 (Don's Dream Machine engine with 0-200 parts). My understanding was that was just a requirement of the Service Letter established by Aeronca and that the other STC conversions, as the Wagner, did not req...
