Re: Drawings for Non-C Model

Re: Sedan Mechanic Needed

Mike Hoag is the go-to Sedan man and he's in southern lower Michigan.

I can't find his contact information right now, but I'll bet Joe A has it.

Re: Vertical tail fin extension

With all due respect to the assembled knowledge base on this site, the Wagner STC specifies " To convert to the larger engines the aircraft is brought up to the Model 7CCM-90hp conversion" http://aeronca.celinaux.com/pics/wagner-p12.png To the best of my limited knowledge the only way a 7AC can be c...

Re: New member

Anthony the account which hosts this Bulletin Board has quotas for file storage and over time the size of our pictures has increased in proportion to the resolution. It simply became impractical to try and provide for image storage and the solution has been upload images to a third party site and sh...

Re: 7BCM-173

Paul, I asked him to pass along the new buyer or invite him to join our group. Stan said he thought the buyer was going Canada ultra-light user maintenance and didn't think he'd be joining us. I have a few people in Canada who will still speak to me  and maybe we can keep tabs on it.

Re: Carb needle 390077

I found this It is necessary, if you want a leak-free installation, that the needle and seat are lapped to be leak free. See the article on Stromberg needles and tips for that guidance. Although the Neoprene-tipped needle did not need lapping, their use has been superceded by the stainless steel or ...

Re: Carb needle 390077

I am getting old and the memory fades back and forth, but I thought the neopreme needle had been abandonded and were no longer produced.
The delrin needle was its replacement and needed to be lapped correctly to get it to seal, which most people failed to do resulting in a leaking carb.
