Bill:

I will give you a call. I do have the C-145 and I do have a seaplane prop, but not that big succer. Thats the one you have to use 8.50 tires with when on wheels isnt it.

Re: Sedan Wheel Pant Mounting Hardware

Matt: Thanks for the offer, but I dont think I am ready to spend $1000. Do you have any pictures of your brackets? Another question for you. Have you flown both with and without the pants on? They supposedly increase cruise speed by a little bit. Is that enough to justify putting them on? I probably...

Sedan Wheel Pant Mounting Hardware

I just bought a set of fiberglass wheel pants on ebay. They appear to be the same style and size as the ones on N1459H on the Cover of Vintage Airplanes Feb 91 issue. Problem is they have no mounting hardware at all. Does anyone have any hardware for sale or drawings of the correct hardware? Picture...

Joe:

Already put Burls mounts in and added 3 point belts with inertia reels like you would expect in most newer planes. I never trusted those clamp down original type belts very much. Haven't changed the rear out, but thats on my list.

Brian:

got much of my training through GI Bill at Elmdale Airpark while stationed at Dyess AFB flying D model Buffs. Is Elmdale still open? It would be a fun place to fly your Aeronca from.

Re: Slow days

Jeff: I do fool around with Fords some. Now you have my curiosity up. I will be out scratching around on bolts and other factory parts looking for the Script Fs.

Enjoy your Jeep, I have enjoyed looking at it.

Re: Slow days

Jeff:

that is a neat pic of the script on the bolt heads. I have a prewar Ford product and they didnt put those in it. Never seen that before. Now every time I see a restored Mil Jeep I will be looking at bolts.

Thanks
