Just got a pile of parts delivered to me over the weekend. It is a 1940 65 LB Chief (converted to continental). I will have to post some photos in the near future. Like most projects, it is missing some parts. The short list so far is ailerons, drag/anti-drag wires, and the trim tab.Lift struts are aluminum and look pretty good so far. If anyone has a line on any prewar chief parts you can email me JimLockbaum@gmail.com
Thanks
Jim

I got a 39 50-L and a 41 65-LB over here Jim that are waiting for me to start on. The LB is fairly complete if ever need to look at anything.

Cool, Thanks Al
I will have to fly down sometime and look the LB over. I am just starting to look this one over and got the CD on it from the FAA. Lot's of 337's and lots of whacks over the years.

Here is the Chief. This is the way it showed up. I have to replace about 18" of the lower longeron(s) forward of the tail post. Also missing quite a few parts. Been a project for about 35 years. This will keep me out of trouble for a long time.
