Florida Drifting

Post by mike newall » Thu Oct 27, 2011 09:21

My mate is being checked out in his Champ by his Instructor/Guru/Nice Chap. I lent them my Hero camera for their morning flight and patched this together when they got back.

Out of Zephyrhills FL, local, strip hunting etc.

Very nice job; that's a keeper. Shoot, I was going to cut firewood today, I may have to go to the airport instead.

Thanks guys.

My buddy shot the vid, I spent a while putting it together in iMovie.

Still getting to terms with iMovie but having read the 'idiots guide book' it was a lot easier.

I was on a layover in Florida, had some great fun with good friends, got to fly the Champ again after some time away now flying my RV7.

That was Dave's greaser landing at the end of the vid - his next one was awful, Yep, we got it on vid but I spared his blushes.

Mike

My Champ is hangared at Punta Gorda and I have a Stealth HD movie camera. I'd love to team up and get some inflight photos of Champs, so if you are available between now and May, give me a call and we can try.
