Filter Change on Hobby Air Pump

Has anyone changed the inlet (fresh air) filter on the Hobby Air Fresh Air Supply Pump? Mine is getting pretty cruddy and I was attempting to remove the filter but it appears to be bonded in. Rather than wreck it I left it alone but it does need to be changed soon. The manual says something like 'remove the filter'. Not a whole lot of help :? .

Thanks,
Mike

Finally called Hobby Air (duh :? ) and she said just pry it out with a screwdriver or butter knife. Apparently not that difficult but I didn't want to wreck it. I ordered a couple of new filters, fairly cheap, around $6.00 each. I've had the pump for over 10 years and never changed the filter so I guess it's time. I have my shop set up with the pump in another room that can be opened to the outside and the hose coming through a PVC pipe through the wall into the paint area.

If I were to do another, I'd certainly look at the Stewart (water borne) system. Instead of having to work around all this nasty MEK based stuff in Super Flite.
