Nate,
As much as I hate to say it......There ain't no wires connected on the back side of that mag switch! But thanks for that keen observation and compliment! :)

This fatherhood business really interferes with aircraft restoration.
6 months of no progress……..but the time spent with family is priceless!

What a Dude! You will look back on these as the best day's of your entire life. I went 8 or 9 years not flying when our son was small. Take Care, David J.

Ok... I know this is not a picture of the plane but is this face not a good enough reason to slow down on the L-16 project? He's getting big fast!
Nate's suffering from double the feeling I'm sure.
Can we say Middletown 2014!

Looks good Jeff,
I just finished the welding on mine. It's all primed and I'm trying to paint the interior silver this weekend.

My wife finally gave me a chance to do some work. I know it doesn't look like much, but I feel like I am getting there!

Its getting there. The hardest part is over. If you can take pry yourself away from the jeep :D the end is just ahead.

Are you going to cover the gear legs or leave them exposed?

There's nothing like signing your name on a wing before you cover it up. Who knows how old they'll be when someone get's to read their work.

I have my name and date on several areas of the plane too! I plan to cover the gear with fabric. It's on my short list of things to do. I've still got to iron my pinks and cover the control surfaces. The jeep was one of those things where you have to have something going on in the empty space in the garage....... :)
