After I got home from driving bus this afternoon my wife said that the FAA guy from the local FSDO called and said my form 337 for using pop rivets instead of PK screws was approved and being forwarded to my AI. This has been about 9 months in the works but looks like I now have the legal 'go ahead'. Talked to Bill Pancake earlier today and he was going to send me a copy of one of his pop rivet approvals for me to look at also.
