Thanks Joe,

This seemed familiar, so I searched my "archive" and uploaded the full article (including some great photography) to my website:

I know this was an old post, but I wanted to say Hello, and I've seen Jim's Sedan up close. I'm picking mine up this Saturday!!

Welcome to the forum, Harmon!

Have a safe trip, both ways, and don't forget to say hello to Chuck from me and Monika!
To the Sedan community: Harmon is about to pick up this wonderful Sedan: http://www.n1331h.com/sedan_gallery/15ac-403_n1356h/ 8)

Joe, I'll be the proud owner of N1356H.

I'm putting it back on it's floats when it returns here.

I spoke with Todd from the Aeronca Museum, which is based a scant few miles from here, he said I should say hello.

My very first airplane ride was in a Sedan on floats at the Lake of the Ozarks. It was on a family trip when I was probably around 8 – 10 years old. I’ve flown a lot in Champs since then and been in a few Chiefs but that was my one and only time in a Sedan. About all I remember of the experience though was the flying and the water. I guess I liked the flying because I'm still doing it. I think the flying from water would be fun too.

Harmon

How did the trip in your new Sedan go? Any pictures of the adventure?

Matt
