Dik

I'll email you a step-by-step instruction on how to post pictures, when I get home from work in a couple of hours. There is a thread on this topic somewhere in the forum, too, but I can't seem to find it, right now.

Dik

Here is how it works for me:

1. To insert a picture into one of your posts, upload it to, let's say, http://www.photobucket.com, first.
2. Once the upload to photobucket is completed, you will find a gearwheel symbol in the upper righthand corner of your picture's thumbnail in photobucket.
3. Move your mouse cursor over the gearwheel and click on the second to last line "Get Links…".
4. Four lines of links appear in a new window, the last one being titled "IMG Codes (for forums, boards)".
5. Click on this link and, for a short moment, the link line will automatically read "Copied" on a yellow background, meaning that the link is copied and ready to be pasted into your forum post.
6. Go to the NAA forum and move the cursor to the position in your post, where you want to insert the picture.
7. Paste the link into the post.
8. Click on "Preview" to preview your post and to verify that the picture has, indeed, been inserted.

Hope, this helps.

Sounds great, Dik!

Keep it up and post a picture or two, when you can.

Dik,

Big suggestion. Please make sure that you put the mounts for the shoulder harnesses on the airframe BEFORE you put the headliner on.

It can be done while everything is finished but is MUCH easier done now...

Joe:

Already put Burls mounts in and added 3 point belts with inertia reels like you would expect in most newer planes. I never trusted those clamp down original type belts very much. Haven't changed the rear out, but thats on my list.

Posting this on Dik's behalf...

"I have just finished painting the Queen of the Berry Patch. She still needs some touch-ups and rub outs, but the paint is basically done. Need to get the wings inspected officially now before putting them back on. I am using the AMOC not the swiss cheese original method. I have already looked at them with a Boroscope myself, but thats not official. I have a new set of windshields to install with the solar grey tint. The original plain windshield allowed a lot of sun damage to the inside of my cockpit, and I want to delay that for as long as I can. I used the Stewarts System all the way on this restoration and am quite happy with their products. Thanks for the help and encouragement.
