Detailed Description

Total Time Air Frame: New
Fuselage will be fabric covered and the landing gear will also be of original tube design. Bungee cords for shock absorption and a steerable tail wheel: standard. The fuselage will have two seaplane type doors, unlike the original Sedan (S15AC). Steel tube formers and aluminum stringers replace the original wood. Metal wings will still grace the plane and new double-puck disc brakes with 8.50 x 6.00 tires complete the standard arrangement.

(Sedan originally equipped with 6 cylinder, Continental C-145 or O-300,145 HP engine)

80" Constant Speed Hartzell Prop HC-C2YR-1BF/F8477-4, C-1576 Damper and 835-23P polished
spinner, Total Time Since New: 0
The 80" constant speed prop STC (separate from the 180 HP STC) that we hold uses a damper on the pro-peller hub just behind the spinner backing plate. This damper ELIMINATES the RPM restriction that is pre-sent on the original 76" constant speed prop that is still part of the original 180 HP STC. You'll have 0-2,700 RPM available to use at any setting you wish.

Covered in Ceconite or Stits, colors to be chosen by the Buyer, 3 colors max. (Invasion stripes, etc. extra) Base color: Insignia white

Two front sliding, adjustable seats covered in fabric with Naugahyde panels and a rear, matching 2-place sling/hammock seat. All seat positions will be fitted with seat belt/shoulder harness installation. Floorboards will be fiberglass covered wood, sidewalls and headlin-er will be painted metal. Optional Leather upholstery complementing the exterior colors may be chosen at extra cost.

Inspection Status:
In Annual and current VFR Certification at time of delivery of aircraft

Standard industry warranty on workmanship, materials for one year or 100 hours, whichever occurs first. Engine, propeller and all appliances are covered under individual manufacturers' warranties.

That might be worth getting excited about! Do Sedans have more legroom than Champs? I sit my Citabria like a Toad on a Lilly pad.

Sedan's have MUCH more legroom than Champs. That is a good part of why I bought my Sedan back in 88. I'm 6'6" with a good part of that dimension taken up by leg. The Sedan was the only plane I could afford that I fit in. Mine has the stock jackscrew adjustable pilot seat. I believe the new Sedans will have the Cessna type seat rails and could potentially have even more adjustment for tall guys than the old ones.
