Cleaning supplies
What's your favorite product to clean up the under side of your airplane. I'm getting a pretty nice little mural painting of oil on the bottom of mine. Someone topped it off with oil and a good quart wound up coming out in the next hour of flight.
Also any other cleaning methods you'd care to share?
Thanks
Ron

Jizer is a degreaser in the UK, I am sure there is an equivalent in the Colonies - spray or wipe on, wash off, excellent stuff.

Regular Simple Green can be corrosive to metal parts--use only Aircraft Simple Green--there is a difference. Never use plain old Simple Green on a metal airplane and Purple Power is definately a no-no..
I use plain white GO-JO to clean the belly of my airplanes--wipe on and wipe off with a clean rag. Only the plain white...Works great..

Purple Power can be used as a poor mans alodine or metal etch. Try it. If you use it on anything and don't want it to etch or start corrosion wash it off with water real good. Plain Simple Green can set up corrosion in metal parts, especially in seams on metal parts.
WD-40 is also a good degreaser.
Skydrol is a good paint remover. But expensive.
